Are push ups good for the brain ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Physical exer GOOD: Physical Exercise and activity is well known to aid in helping people improve and maintain alertness, focus, and cognitive functioning. So in that sense nobody could say that pushups AREN'T good for the brain. I don't think there's anything SPECIFIC to pushups though as far as brain influence is concerned that couldn't be said for situps, squats, or weightlifting, swimming, etc. It's all good
