Piercings, pregnancy: If the ring is short and curved as many are, as your abdomen increases in size the ring will tear out. Not a good thing. I know here, a long, nearly 2-3inch 'stick' that can replace your current ring is sold. Many patients wish to preserve the piercing and therefore replace their ring with this 'stick' for the duration of their pregnancy and recovery. Good fortune to you.
