My uterus is still 3 inches below my belly button at 17 weeks pregnant. is this normal?

Most likely: In general, the uterus reaches the belly button @ about 20 weeks. At 17 weeks it is about the width of 3 fingers below the belly button. Let your OB know of your concerns at your next visit. If she is also concerned, she will probably do an ultrasound. I stress the term "in general" since these are just rough guidelines.
