A member asked:

I have this slight numbness on the upper part of my left big toe.this started after i had a dance.is it possible that this is due to nerve compression?

Yes: Most likely due to a pinched nerve. Usually it will resolve by itself if the compression is not chronic. Avoid doing the activities that cause this. I do recommend you get evaluation if the numbness gets worse. See your doctor.

Yes: This could be due to repetitive trauma, a pinched nerve, poor fitting shoes at the dance. Many diseases can start this way but the most likely cause are the shoes you wore to the dance
