What do you think about global health?

It is improving: Many people and professions have worked hard to help improve the the health of people around the world. Since we are more connected with each other than ever, it's important that countries work together to solve health problems.

Health = human right: If we view health as a human right, the question of global health becomes much more urgent. In our increasingly interconnected world, we cannot ignore the question of what to do to increase the health not only of our own neighbors but of our global neighbors as well.

Important: Given the rapid transportation and communication of humans around the planet, health issues no longer are in isolation as anything can spread elsewhere. Gobal health agencies are in place to assist with this. Note the activation of these resources now to try and contain ebola.
