Yes: The pain may be due to hernia recurrence, muscle strain, nerve entrapment, seroma (fluid collection) around the mesh if mesh was used, or unrelated, See you surgeon to have it checked.

Yes: It is very common to have a variety of aches and pains in an old surgical incision. These are usually mild and/or short lived. If it gets to the point that it is significantly limiting your activity, see your surgeon for an evaluation. Hope this helps!
