Bonding: Brest feeding is often a means babies use to bond with their Moms. Night time is hard and it may take some time to change this pattern around, but possible. Feed him/her more often through the day and encourage wakefulness. Give an evening dose of cereal. All the best and enjoy this special time with your baby.

Stop if you want: Baby is using you as a cuddle toy at night. If you like it and want to continue for months or years continue. If not, find other ways to comfort baby during the day, consider ending the breast feeding.Don't do it to settle baby to sleep at night, last call an hour before bedtime, so you end the sleep association. You can read to baby at bedtime, while physically separated. Over time baby should adapt
