I have been diagnosed with lung nodules, and i have been having episodes of shortness of breath and tightness in my chest. i have never smoked i am 57?

Lung nodules: These require precise diagnosis. Incidence of lung neoplasm in nonsmokers is not uncommon. And lung nodules could represent tumor from another source. I am not wanting to frighten. Important to know. Nontumor possibilities exidt too. Please see pulmonologist.

Lung nodules....: The lung nodules will require further evaluation. Depending on their size and precise location, a needle biopsy by interventional radiology may be possible, or via bronchoscopy or via surgery by a thoracic surgeon. The course of treatment depends on the biopsy results. See a lung doctor ASAP to determine the best way to biopsy the nodules! Your shortness of breath may be unrelated but see lung doc
