I don't think: your kidneys have anything to do with your vas. It might be that you have atrophic testicle or seminal vesicle. Consult with a urologist just to be sure.

Kidney: The vas deferens is part of the male genitalia, not the kidneys. The kidneys lie posteriorly in the abdominal cavity and can't usually be palpated. An ultrasound is very sensitive for showing the kidneys, a CT scan even more so. If you have normal kidney function, do not be worried.
