Infection: This may well be a kidney infection. Need to see your local ER or urgicenter. This may affect the health of your kidney. This severe back pain may be muscular but must be considered otherwise for now. Muscular back pain does not usually cause vomiting.

Back pain: The vomiting associated with the back pain requires urgent medical attention. A urinary tract infection, appendicitis or other intra-abdominal problem requires an evaluation with a physician. Don't delay.
