Labor: Sounds like it could be onset of labor. Regardless, if you are 36 weeks with onset of severe cramps you should talk with your doctor right away or just go to the labor and delivery ward where you plan to deliver your baby. Your doctor is likely to ask you to go there for evaluation now.
