See below: Inflamation of the lining causing bleeding, ulcers, occasional malabsortion. It there is liver disease, there may be swelling of certain blood vessels and bleedimg temdencies.

Gastritis: The gut doesn't particularly like alcohol. Alcohol can cause gastritis which means an inflammation of the wall or lining of the stomach. Alcohol can adversely affect every organ of the body with the exception of (interestingly) the kidneys.
