Yes: Many alcoholics continue to drink, sometimes after treatment, and sometimes never trying treatment. They may die of damage from their alcohol use. But, they may also die of old age, or another disease or health problem. Why risk dying from alcohol, don't ignore your problem, get help.

Alcohol and death : Absolutely you can die. Alcoholism adversely affects every organ in the body except the kidneys. It also affects families, relationships and employment. If one can't control their drinking, there is help out there. Good luck to you.

Absolutely: Liver failure is a terrible way to die. Fortunately, there are many 12-step groups like aa out there to help. Physicians trained in addiction medicine can help, as well as your primary doctor. Asking this question is a good start, and i wish you the best for a healthy life.
