Motor tics: Motor tics are involuntary movements, usually brief, of the eyelids, face, limbs. Transient tics are somewhat common in children and often get worse with stress. Certain medications (especially ADHD medications) can precipitate tics in those already predisposed. PANDAS is a tic disorder associated with a previous Strep infection. Disorders such as Tourettes, OCD and epilepsy are possible.
