Spinal tap results: It's very important to interpret the results of a spinal tap or any other test for that matter in the clinical context of the patient. It sounds like the protein level in your CSF is slightly high - but I wonder if there was any blood contaminating the sample that could account for that. If you were having neurological symptoms, then I would hope a diagnosis could be reached to explain everything.
