i've have had haemorrhoids for just under a week, 2 large lumps and pain. should i see a doctor?

Yes: Hemorrhoids are very common and can often be easily treated in the office by seeing a rectal surgeon. In the interim, over-the-counter stool softeners (colace (docusate sodium) 100mg by mouth twice per day), sitz baths, and preparation H can be helpful.
