A Fistful Of Factors: Oh, nothing really. Just: freezing techniques (slow vs very fast freeze),quality of the embryos, high blood pressure, diabetes, fibroids, body mass index (BMI), underlying fertility conditions hormone levels and time of cycle, thyroid problems, condition of the uterine cavity genetic screening, implantation techniques---and- I'd guess,Astrological sign,Moon cycle,Season, Macrobiotic Diet-good luck!

Usual Suspects Plus: Certainly, embryo aneuploidy is tops. Aneuploidy can vary by doc and clinic from stimulation issues. Freeze Technique and Embryo quality measures likely affect ongoing outcomes too. Endometrial adequacy is always debated such as IM vs Vaginal progesterone. Did the patient take her meds properly, as I have had women stop or forget progesterone doses. Possibly unusual activity or trauma.
