If ALS was supposedly active in my left hand, would it show up on an EMG that was done in muscles in my upper left arm? They didn't test my left hand but my left bicep/shoulder muscles came out clear. I'm extremely stressed out on the verge of tears?

Continuous nerve pain /weakness that started in left hand all the way to my shoulder and collar bone for 10 month.The right arm/hand also started to hurt but the pain comes and goes.The emg and mri came back normal.Physical therapy didn't help much?
Negative emg of right hand, arm, leg, blood and vitamin tests normal. Still random twitching and deep pain in right thumb and upper leg. Any ideas?
