I wouldn't worry: It's very rare, less than 40 cases in the past 10 years. The symptoms start 1-7 days after infection. It is mostly found in the warmer waters of the southern states. I don't think there have been any cases in Maine. Seek care if you suddenly develop fever with headache, stiff neck and vomiting.
