Labs and imaging: if your pain is in the right upper part of the abdomen an UltraSound is appropriate to look for gallstones. if left upper side a CT scan may be better. and if those are clear a referral to GI doc for a Upper Endoscopy. keep taking prilosec. add zantac (ranitidine) at bedtime-150mg OTC and avoid all foods that can worsen acidity-tomato's/alcohol/chocolate/spicy/vinegar/citrus/pepprmint/caffeine/hot temp foods
