A doctor has provided 1 answer

Epilepsy & learning: For some children, seizures interfere with attention, which makes it difficult for them to learn. Normally this occurs with childhood absence seizures. They may appear so subtle they are not noticed. There are many other causes of difficulty with learning, One must not assume seizures are the cause. Teachers may recognize some of the causes of learning disabilities.
