A member asked:

Placenta abruption help, 20 weeks pregnant, what to do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Abruption : Placenta abruption occurs when placenta starts to shear off uterine wall. Things that increase risk of abruption are smoking, contractions, older age, abdominal trauma. Avoiding the above (those that you can control) will help. Otherwise there is no treatment for abruption at 20 weeks other than watchful waiting
