Why does my bottle of gabapentin say to wear i.d.that you take it? other epilepsy meds don't say that. i do not take it for epilepsy.

General advice: The advice on a medical alert bracelet or carrying an ID, in case on an emergency is good advice for those with a seizure disorder, but may not apply to you.

?: I really don't know. That is a new one to me. Perhaps the manufacturer is being extra cautious. I'm am betting you are right, it is meant for those patients with epilepsy and not for those taking it for other purposes.
