Yes: Tracheoesophageal reflux, and gastroesophageal reflux can cause burning sensation the posterior hypopharynx, as well as nasal pharynx depending on the extent of the acid reflux. Other condition such as tracheoesophageal fistula, esophageal dysmotility, and achalasia can produce similar symptoms. If symptoms persist, evaluation and testing with your physician is recommended.
