Basements: Basements tend to be moist and often there is a problem with mold. A dehumidifier may help. Fans may help with circulating the air. Hopefully there is a door you can keep open at times. Stay healthy.

What's Ur humidity ?: To answer the question you need an idea of what your humidity is in that apt.There is no blanket answer.A gauge powered by a button battery can be found at most hardware stores.You want your environment to range between 35-45%. If high, dehumidify, if low, add humidity.Different regions of the country are different, though basements are often humid by nature.
