Why are drs concerned about a bloated or distended abdomen after liver biopsy? what would this indicate?

Multiple possibiliti: Liver biopsy is not without risks. The liver can bleed. Bowels can get injured with the needle. They are most likely concerned with excess bleeding from the biopsy site. Possibly concerned about bowel injury.
