Get checked!: A young woman can have significant rhythm problems, some quite harmless, others can be very serious. Since such rhythm problems can come and go, it is a very good idea to be checked with an examination and ECG at a minimum. If you have a primary doctor, call NOW for her advice. If you do not, then it might be wise to go,to an emergency department. I'm running out of space. Act now. Good luck!

Palpitations: Palpitations are not uncommon and occasionally you may feel a sensation like a vigorous squeeze of the heart that you may be referring to as a "spasm." In most cases, these palpitations are benign however if you have not yet discussed this with your doctor, it is important to get a check-up. Try eliminating caffeine from your diet to see if this has an effect. If you're dizzy, SOB etc. go to ER
