Urine color only?: Urine color can change as a result of ingestion of foods, vitamins, medications, and certain illnesses. Urinary tract infections are usually associated with painful or frequent urination, strong foul smelling urine, difficulty initiating a urine stream and occasionally with fever, back or abdominal pain and vomiting. Infections are diagnosed at a physicians office with a urine sample.
