Neck pain: There may be inflammation around the nerves coming out of your spinal column in your cervical (neck) region. There may even be a malalignment of the vertebrae. Muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatories and other medications can help on a short term. You can see a WELL QUALIFIED chiropractor (but be careful, it's your neck!). Pain management and Orthopedic Spine doctors are specialists for this.

Neck pain: Sounds like you are another of the thousands of victiims of acute torticollis i.e. wry neck. You are young, so it is very unlikely to be arthritis. IF You do not have any pain or weakness in your arms then you might try some neck mobility execises (many available on the internet) if this does not help then Medical Massage Therapy might be your answer
