when i woke this morning, my neck made a really strange grinding noise. and now it hurts really bad any time i try to turn my head. anything i can do?

Neck pain: There may be inflammation around the nerves coming out of your spinal column in your cervical (neck) region. There may even be a malalignment of the vertebrae. Muscle relaxers, anti-inflammatories and other medications can help on a short term. You can see a WELL QUALIFIED chiropractor (but be careful, it's your neck!).
