A member asked:

I have a head ache in my neck mostly. i laid on a heating pad to try and help. now i can barely pick my head up it hurts so bad.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Neck pain: Tension migraines are headaches that come from tense muscles of the neck that insert on the back of the head. The headaches are usually from compensatory muscle spasm due to abnormal alignment of the cervical spine. Massage, physical therapy, and chiropractic care are helpful to relieve the neck pain and headaches.
