Mononucleosis: Glandular fever is another term used for Epstein-Barr Virus induced infectious mononucleosis. Symptoms in some patients can last for months, but yours may or may not be related to your doctor's diagnosis. Go back and see them and be re-examined. Good luck and best wishes.
