Everything is worse: Effects are amplified. Smoking is bad for you, right? Diabetes is bad for you, right? Wouldn't having both of those things be doubly bad for you? Both conditions cause heart disease, both cause changes in blood vessels that lead to poor circulation and organ disease. Smoking makes diabetes worse. Diabetes makes smoking more harmful.

The research shows that smoker diabetes patients have higher blood sugar making their disease more complicate to control and expose them at greater danger of developing complications such as blindness, nerve damage, kidney failure and heart problems and stroke. Take this opportunity and ask your doctor how to quit smoking.
