A member asked:

Good morning, i have a low white cell count (lymphocytes low at 35%) a borderline crp and high plasma viscosity of 1.84. what could be causing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably nothing: Percentages mean nothing on the white count. If your absolute neutrophil and absolute lymphcyte counts are anywhere near reference range, stop worrying. The ranges are set so that several percent of healthies fall outside on either end, and the values fluctuate chaotically from hour to hour. I'd ignore the other values if you feel reasonably well, and look at history & physical if seeking illness.
