Misunderstanding: I can't say who misunderstood what, but it does sound like it happened. Nothing in what you state raises the Dx of Schizophrenia. While anxiety and a somatization issue seem possible another opinion on reflexes, fever, etc is a good idea. See a psychotherapist for the anxiety and a Dr. to Dr. referral. It might help present your symptoms more clearly. Best!
