Neurologist should: carefully review the initial lab results, MRI(or CT) before obtaining spinal fluid for analysis. Loss of reflexes with tingling can be due to AIDP / CIDP (auto-immune attack on multiple nerve roots) If you develop weakness you need to be seen in the emergency room. Typically we will obtain an EMG-NCS study with what are called "F Waves" to exclude Guillian Barre (AIDP)

Have you been: tested for Lyme Disease? Even these tests are not very reliable. Your family doc can do this. You can also see a Lyme specialist. If your present neuro believes he/she can't help please look for another. If a lab test is negative for Lyme you may still have it. Share your symptoms w/any doc who will listen. Antibiotics are used for Lyme and there are also natural approaches. Hope this helps.

Sure neuro will help: Your neuro provider should be especially helpful with the migraines and and the tingling. Perhaps a treatment like amitriptyline would help. It is good at suppressing tingling, it is a class A migraine preventer, and sometimes. Perhaps your memory is connected. The night time fevers and bruising are not always related to neurology, and they may need to ask for some assistance regarding those.

Neuropathy: sounds like you may have a neuoapthy, or a disease of your peripheral nerves. This can cause bruising, and the fever may be due to the cause of the neuropathy, such as a connective tissue disorder like lupus. this wouldn't show up on an MRI or EEG. See another neurologist.
