Been on bed rest for 2 months. sitting up now so body can adjust. its better with eyes closed. helps the dizzy head sitting up. any idea why it helps?

Hypotension: Your body us readjusting to pumping blood against gravity. Slow adjustments like you are doing is advized. We use tilt tables for patients confined to a bed for long periods. The reason is better with eyes closed is because it it's one less signal to your brain that may be contradictory. Position and sight both play a role in dizziness and if they contradict each other you feel worse.
