Yes but-: It is not indicated for Crohns (it is for ulcerative colitis) but I have had results with it.

Sometimes: For mild to moderate Crohn's of the ileum and large intestine, salicylates such as mesalamine have been shown to reduce symptoms in as many as 50% of people. Not a perfect treatment, but better than placebo. Hope this helps!
