Yes, there are: Most of these are really good things for all kids, so if she has friends or siblings - this will not separate her. Hard to parent: You can usually tell with a drug like Adderall whether it has beneficial effects or not. Using it on a day when you can watch the effect & the kid must hold to tasks like reading, studying may convince you that it helps. Using it only on school days would limit exposure. If there is no benefit she needs something else. Kids usually need talk therapy too, but it seldom helps by itself.
