A member asked:

Do you know if adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine) is only for people who has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

For ADHD: Generally used for ADHD, but often prescribed off-label with antidepressants, for traumatic brain injury, and in other conditions affecting alertness and cognition. It can have serious side effects, and can be addicting, so should be used appropriately.
