Eustachian tube prob: You likely have eustachian tube dysfunction along with your Bell's palsy. The Eustachian tube opens from your throat to the inner ear. It may be that you are having a hard time clearing fluid from your middle ear or that your sensation in that area is altered by your Bell's palsy. Continue treatment as prescribed by your doctor and consider a decongestant if you are uncomfortable.
