It's up to you...: You'll never "get rid" of the virus that causes Mono, but that shouldn't limit who you kiss. It is probably best to wait for the symptoms of the Mono to get better before you start kissing anyone though. It would also be a good idea to tell your kissing partner that you've been sick. But keep in mind that in most cases EBV is not a serious infection.
