Do you mean a blood: clot tumor? most commonly a hemagioma of the liver is a benign harmless entity. if quite large, it could bleed but that is quite uncommon and can be diagnosed by ultrasound and CT scanning. a blood clot of the portal vein in the liver can be quite dangerous and requires immediate attention. it does not sound like you have one. see your doc and get an answer.

Hemangioma?: Based on the information you gave, I can give you some reassurance. What you're describing sounds like a hemangioma, a benign growth made up of a tangle of blood vessels. It is NOT cancerous. It doesn't spread. It doesn't cause liver failure or cirrhosis. However, it's important that you ask your doctor for specifics since you are rightfully concerned. I am offering only an educated guess.
