No: It will take 2-3 weeks to go away. It is a hematoma, or a collection of blood, that the body just has to reabsorb. If she is acting normally, not vomiting, and is not confused, she will recover fully in time. If she starts having any of the above symptoms, see your doctor. Hope this helps!

Knot will go away: This swelling (knot) will reduce in size and eventually disappear ,it may take2 weeks or so.You may talk to your doctor if still bothers you ori it becomes begin si ze or painful .

Swelling: If it is firm it is likely a resolving bruise. If is feels like fluid it should be checked. This is called a cephalohemtoma and can be associated with an underlying fracture. It sounds like she is othwise symptom free. All the best.

Depends: Depending on severity of injury children can have skull fractures that become complicated over time. More often it is a hematoma or swelling. it may be quite large yet not serious then it resolves completely over a few days. If child was unconscious or is acting strangely or different or not normally awake he should be seen by MD immediately. Two weeks is a long time so to be safe see your MD.
