Yes: You can get Clostridium difficult infection (or C. diff as it is popularly known) more than once. Risk factors include chronic use of certain antibiotics and multiple hospital stays. People with C. diff get treated with antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin and metronidazole. Some people who continue to get it may even be eligible for fecal transplants which recolonize the good bacteria in the gut.
