Dental visit: You will definitely need to take an antibiotic. You need to have the prescriber of your methatrexate / prednisone discuss with your dentist.Depends on dosage, length of treatment and medication needs.

Ask your MD: Dosage and length of time on these meds are important; clotting may be reduced and adrenal glands may be suppressed. Your MD may want to do some blood work prior to an extraction. Should be no problem for a normal cleaning.
