Which is safer (less longterm risks) to use long term for lupus control: prednisone 5mg daily or methotrexate weekly? (i'm also on plaquenil).

Methotrexate: Even a low dose of Prednisone carries significant risk with long term use. Especially in someone as young as 29. Imo, Methotrexate is preferable.
