How to count your radial pulse?

Use watch or timer: If you have a watch or timer, plan to check your pulse for 30 seconds then multiply by 2 to get your heart rate in beats per minute. Be sure to feel for a spot on your wrist, on the side where your thumb is, to get a good pulsation and then count each one for the 30 seconds. [Unlike picture, often better to feel with your 2nd and 3rd fingers]

Radial pulse.: Feel for the radial pulse in your wrist (feel with fingertips as they’re more sensitive than other parts of your fingers). Pulse is located on the outer part of the wrist when your palm is facing the ceiling. Once you feel the pulse, count the number of beats in 15 seconds and multiply by four. Or in 30 seconds and multiply by two. Or just count them all in 60 seconds.
