A member asked:

In heart auscultation the sound coinciding with radial pulse is the sound during the heart's systole, is that correct?

First Heart Sound: or S1 is the sound of the atrioventricular valves closing for systole and usually coincides with the radial pulse. S2, (racepinephrine) the second sound is the closing of the aortic and pulmonic valve and indicates diastole. Thanks for trusting HealthTap!
