Could two miscarriages and one abortion affect my fertility?

The treatment: Not so much miscarriages and abortions by themselves can affect fertility, but they way they were treated. Specifically, when the womb was emptied surgically (D&C, dilatation and curettage), subsequent infection and scarring can interfere with future fertility.
