Miscarriage ?: If your pregnancy test was positive, "bright red bleeding" may indicate a pending miscarriage, or even indicate a pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic) . See your OB physician who may order a pelvic ultrasound to determine the nature of the bleeding source.
